Brazil Add Spain to November Internationals

Brazil has secured a test match against Spain this year. The away fixture will be part of the November Internationals with Spain hosting Brazil on November 25. The venue for the fixture is yet to be confirmed.

The fixture is the second confirmed match for Os Tupis to end 2017. Brazil’s end-of-year tour now has two test matches. The first is to be against Germany in Leipzig on November 11. This sees a change to the initial schedule which had Brazil’s match against Germany scheduled for November 25.

A third fixture for Brazil is expected to be added to make it a three-match tour. Georgia, Germany, Romania and Spain all have confirmed matches on the weekend of November 18. Instead an additional opponent from Europe is to be announced.

Both Canada and the USA are to also have matches in familiar territories. Canada face Spain on November 18 while the USA play against Germany that same day.

The 2017 November Internationals are to be vital for the continued development of Brazil’s test side. In the first two additions of the Americas Rugby Championship Os Tupis have recorded wins over Canada, Chile and the USA. The 2018 competition will again be played in February and March.
