Poet Scores as Colomiers Down Perpignan

Sebastian Poet scored in Colomiers’ home win over Perpignan on Sunday. The teams met in a second round fixture in the French Pro D2. Poet played at fly half and was joined by fellow Argentine Agus´tin Costa Repetto in the starting lineup.

Poet crossed for a try in the 47th minute. He did so with Perpignan holding a 17-10 lead. 12 minutes later Poet would add a penalty. His team went on to win 27-19 but doing so in an ending surrounded by controversy. Colomiers were awarded two penalty tries after the 80th minute.

Poet joined Colomiers this season. It is his third French Club. He previously played for Tarbes and Charente. Still aged just 24, Poet may go on to add to his three Pumas caps.
