Pumpas Win World Title

Los Pumpas are world champions. In the second edition of the adapted special rugby World Cup, the Argentine side came out as winners. Los Pumpas is a national team involving intellectually challenged players.

Competing in Spain were two sides – Argentina ‘A’ and Argentina ‘B’. Los Pumpas were victorious, defeating Irish side Sunday’s Well Rebels 10-7 to win the world title.

The Argentina ‘A’ side went through the tournament undefeated. This included wins over Club Auvergne Rugby Adapté (France) and Swansea Gladiators (Wales) in the group stage followed by a Semi Final win over Scotland National Clan (Scotland).
