World Rugby u20 Trophy Fixtures Confirmed

Canada, Chile, and hosts Uruguay will represent the Americas in the 2017 World Rugby u20 Trophy. This year’s tournament takes place in Montevideo with all matches set to be played at the home of Uruguayan rugby, the Estadio Charrúa. The winner of the Tier 2 competition will earn a spot in the World Rugby u20 Championship in 2018.

The format sees two pools of four competing in a three-game round robin over eight days. Those who top their pools will then face off for the title with the remaining teams playing to determine the final standings. Canada and Chile will share Pool A along with Japan and Namibia. The Teritos are in Pool B with Hong Kong, Portugal, and favorites Fiji.
