Landry named to Clermont Dream team

Ghislaine Landry has been named to the official HSBC Dream Team for the Clermont-Ferrand 7s. The Canadian captain guided her team to a third place finish and secured her spot in the record books by scoring her 100th career try at the tournament, becoming just the third player to achieve that mark in the five year history of the Women’s Sevens Series.

The only Americas player to earn selection to the side, Landry was joined by Australians Emilee Cherry, another 100-plus try scorer, and Charlotte Caslick as well as outstanding New Zealand winger Michaela Blyde in the backs. Chosen in the forwards were New Zealand’s Ruby Tui, Australia’s Chloe Dalton, and Chloé Pelle from hosts France.
