Argentina vs England June 2017 Game 2 – Full Match

Argentina hosted England for the second of two June Internationals on Saturday. Played in Santa Fé the visitors completed a 2-0 series win to give Argentina plenty to think about.

The English were the better team. Not only were they able to control their own play better but they were able to pounce on Pumas errors and turn them into points. As was the case in San Juan in game one, England scored twice from Pumas blunders in Santa Fé.

The two teams are to play one further test match this year. The teams will meet at the home of English rugby on November 11. The teams last played there in November 2016 with England coming out on top.

Saturday’s triumph in Santa Fé underlined the strength of England today. Head Coach Eddie Jones was without ten starting players who are involved in the British & Irish Lions’ ongoing tour of New Zealand.
