Orlandi Back to France

It is back to France for Juan Pablo Orlandi. The former Pumas Tight Head prop has signed to play for Bayonne in the upcoming season. In doing so he will return to the country in which he has played the majority of his professional career in.

Orlandi played for Pau in the 2015-2016 season. Prior to that the Mendoza prop played for Racing 92 from 2009-2013. Additional clubs to have been home to Orlandi include Rovigo (Italy) and Bath (England).

Orlandi returned to Argentina from France one year ago. His departure from Pau did not see him receiving opportunities with Los Pumas or Jaguares.

His latest club, Bayonne are to play in the upcoming Pro D2 season. The club was relegated this past season after it finished bottom of the table. In seeking to return the Basque club recruited to have a competitive roster.

Orlandi is joined by Córdoba back Martín Bustos Moyano at the club. In addition there are two Chilean forwards – Ramón Ayarza and Pablo Huete. All four players are capped. Orlandi leads the list with 20 caps. His most recent test appearance was the 2015 World Cup Bronze Final against South Africa.
