Chile’s 25 for the Argentina XV

25 players have been selected for Chile to face the Argentina XV. The teams are to meet on Saturday in a 2017 Sudamérica Cup fixture. Included in the roster are two of Chile’s France-based professionals in Bayonne pair Ramón Ayarza and Pablo Huete. A third, though, is missing with Francisco de la Fuente having returned to Bagnères.

Front-rowers Vittorio Lastra and Maximiliano Hurtado are also missing. Their places in the roster have gone to Sebastián Valech and Lucas Bordigoni. The remainder of the roster is the same that participated in the final of the South American ‘A’ Championship against Uruguay this past Saturday.

The Argentina XV is to travel across the Andes on Thursday. Felipe Contepomi has named a roster of 26 players for the match. This includes seven players involved in Super Rugby activities. A number of them are to return home and join Daniel Hourcade’s squad ahead of the opening test against England.

Uruguayan Francisco Gonzále will referee Saturday’s match. Local officials Tomás Fernández and Tomas Covarrubias are to be the assistants.
