Bahamas Suffer Home Defeat to Turks & Caicos Islands

The Bahamas suffered a home defeat this afternoon, losing to the Turks & Caicos Islands. The outcome is certain to see changes to the Americas Rankings as the higher ranked team lost at home.

The 26-19 result gives the Flamingos a 2-0 record in 2017. Earlier this month the Turks & Caicos Islands defeated the Dominican Republic 24-15. It also sees the team knocking-over a World Rugby member.

The Bahamas, Dominican Republic and Turks & Caicos Islands are playing in the North Cup, a lower tier category of the Rugby Americas North Championship. The remaining fixture in the North Cup will be played on June 03. The Dominican Republic are to have home advantage against the Bahamas.
