Freitas Injury Concern for Uruguay

Nicolás Freitas is in doubt for Uruguay. Playing against Paraguay on Saturday the Jaguares winger suffered a sprained knee and is currently undergoing studies to reveal the extent of the injury.

The 23-year-old earned his 17th test cap for Uruguay on Saturday. He played on the left wing in the 45-19 victory. His involvement in Uruguay’s next match is now in doubt. Uruguay will play host to Brazil on Saturday. The fixture is the second of three in the 2017 South American A Championship. The competition doubles as Rugby World Cup 2019 qualification.

Freitas is yet to debut for the Jaguares whom he signed for earlier this year. He is the only non-Argentine player on the roster.
