Charente Sign Second Argentine Winger

French second division club, Charente have confirmed the signing of new players for next season. In an ambitious move the Pro D2 side has announced the arrival of ten new players.

The new arrivals are Lucas Méret (Bayonne), Anthony Colleta (Dax), Florent Guion (Rouen), Lucas Caneda (Provence), Callum Wilson (England), Pingi Tala’apitaga (Narbonne), Quentin Witt (Bourg-en-Bresse), Victor Lebas (Brive), Damien Lavergne (Brive), and Ilian Perraux (Albi).

Lucas Caneda joins from Aix-en-Provence. He joined the Marseilles side in the 2015-2016 season. The Argentine winger is uncapped but has made representative rugby for Buenos Aires. He comes from the Pueyrredón club.

Caneda is the second Argentine winger at Charente, joining Facundo Panceyra Garrido. Argentine fly half Sebastián Poet is also at the club.
