Americas Weekend Guide: Aviva Premiership – Week 21

Week 21 of 22 in the Aviva Premiership kicks-off today in England. The county’s 12 best club sides continue to battle it out for national honors, survival and European qualification. Involved again in Week 21 are to be a host of players from the Americas. Below is what to expect in this weekend’s Americas guide.

Action gets upway on Friday. The first of two matches see the Harlequins hosting the Wasps. Involved for the London-based club will be Marland Yarde. The English-capped flier from St. Lucia is to start on the right wing.

The second of two Friday matches sees the Newcastle Falcons hosting the Worcester Warriors at Kingston Park. The fixture could have been a relegation clash but both sides are now safe with Bristol’s fate sealed. Argentina’s Juan Pablo Socino starts at inside center for the home side.

Bristol face Saracens in an away match on Saturday. Already secured of a place in the Semi Finals and a Final in the Champions Cup, Sarries have rotated from last weekend vs Munster. Back into the side to play left wing is Chris Wyles. The former USA captain scored a try in Dublin last weekend. Titi Lamositele has been named on the bench. Gastón Córtes starts at Loose Head prop for Bristol.

The Leicester Tigers can seal a Semi Final birth this weekend. The East Midlands club play away to the Sale Sharks. A win will see them joining Wasps, Saracens and the Exeter Chiefs in the final four. Playing fly half for Sale will be AJ MacGinty.

The Exeter Chiefs’ home match this weekend is against the out-of-sorts Northampton. A win will see Exeter retain its place in the top 2 and thus march on to a home Semi Final. Argentine winger Juan Pablo Estelles is to feature from the bench for the Northampton Saints.

England’s west country will host to the final match of Week 21. The derby classic that is Bath vs Gloucester brings with it the minor possibility of Bath reaching the Semi Finals. A big win is required as well as a another win in Week 22. Argentine second-rower Mariano Galarza will start for Gloucester.
