Argentina Ready for World Rugby u20’s Championship

Argentina’s junior side, Los Pumitas, are ready for the World Rugby u20’s Championship. The coaching staff of Gastón Conde, Agustín Ezcurra and Maximiliano Bustos has confirmed a 28-man roster for for tournament in Tbilisi, Georgia.

This year’s edition of the Junior World Championship will be played from May 31 to June 18. The South Americans are to be the only participants from the Americas.

Included are experienced players including Franco Molina, Bautista Delguy, Vicente Boronat, Tomás Malanos, Teo Castiglioni, Bautista Stavile, Nahuel Milan and Santiago Pulella.

The most notable absentee is that of Marcos Kremer. The 19-year-old Jaguar has not been selected based, presumably, on his upcoming involvement with Los Pumas. He has rocketed up to be next in line to the top three second-rowers of Matías Alemanno, Guido Petti and Tomás Lavanini. Not all are guaranteed fitness for the June Internationals.
