Osadczuk Out With Torn Ligaments

Los Pumas 7’s player, Matías Osadczuk is out injured. Playing for Argentina in the Hong Kong 7’s Osadczuk suffered a serious knee injury. With torn cruciate ligaments he is to undergo surgery.

Osadczuk had been a key player for Head Coach Santiago Gómez Cora. He also featured in the recent Pumitas tour of New Zealand. Involvement for either side is now off limits with him requiring a lengthily recovery time.

Argentina will feature in the 2017 Junior World Championship. This year’s edition is to be played in Tbilisi, Georgia. From May 31-June 18 the u20 sides from twelve countries will compete for the right to be Junior Champions.

Before then Paris and London are to host the final two stages of the 2016–17 World Rugby Sevens Series. Los Pumas 7’s will have to find a replacement for Osadczuk.
