Urdapilleta Starts in Wednesday Top 14 Match

Bejamín Urdapilleta is to start in a rare Wednesday Top 14 match. His club, Castres, host Stade Français in a rescheduled fixture. With both clubs having played this past Saturday it is a tough  assignment for all involved.

Urdapilleta was on the bench for Saturday’s match against Toulon. He was one of many regulars left out of the run-on lineup. Antoine Dupont was also a replacement and is back to join Urdapilleta in the halves.

Not involved against the Gonzalo Quesada coached Stade Français are Horacio Agulla and Rodrigo Capó Ortega. Argentine-Italian No 8, Sergio Parisse has been rested by Quesada.

A second rescheduled Top 14 match will be played this week. Montpellier will be at home to Racing 92 on Friday. Lineups for that fixture are to be released on Thursday.

All four teams are in hunt for a place in the play-off’s. Montpellier are currently in 3rd position on 66 points. Racing 92 are 5th on 57 while Stade Français are 6th on 54 and Castres are 8th on 53. The top two advance to the Semi Finals while 3rd-6th meet in barrage to determine the two remaining Semi Finalists.
