A try from Marcelo Bosch handed Saracens a late 27-25 victory over Northampton on Sunday. The Argentine center went over for the decisive score to give the reigning English champions an away victory. The result sees Saracens tied with the Exeter Chiefs for second position behind the Wasps.
Bosch’s try was his sixth of the season. It makes him Saracens’ leading try-scorer in the 2016-2017 Aviva Premiership season. In comparison to prior seasons it is also easily his best. In 2013-2014 he scored four tries in the Premiership. In 2014-2015 he crossed once while in 2015-2016 he did not score in the Premiership.
Bosch joined Saracens after previously playing in the Top 14 from 2006. He played in Rugby World Cups 2011 and 2015 for Argentina. Due to the UAR’s player selection policy Bosch is not eligible to play for Los Pumas.
