Uruguay’s Carrasco Polo Playing for Promotion in Argentina

This Saturday Montevideo club, Carrasco Polo will take on the Universitario de Córdoba in the Grand Final of the Torneo del Interior B, Argentina’s B league in the Campeonato Argentino.

Carrasco Polo earned its place in the Torneo del Interior B by virtue of finishing third in the 2016 Campeonato Uruguayo.

The club enters the Grand Final is fine form. It is coming off a 42-8 Semi Final victory over Club Atlético Provincial de Rosario.

Saturday’s Final is to be refereed by distinguished Argentine official, Pablo Deluca. The match will be a home fixture for Carrasco Polo. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:30pm.
