Brazil Women’s 7’s Continue Preparation in Japan

Brazil’s Women’s Rugby 7’s roster is continuing preparation in Japan. A squad of 14 players are currently finalizing their preparations for the upcoming 4th leg of the World Series in Kitakyushu. The competition will be staged on April 21-22.

Head Coach Reuben Samuel has opted against making wholesale changes. The roster from Las Vegas has largely been repeated. Getting opportunities in Japan are Aline Ribeiro Furtado and Milena Batista Mariano Silva.

Brazil is to play in Group B. They will do so against powerhouses Australia, Fiji and Ireland. Both Canada and the USA are to be involved, giving the Americas three competitors. They join England and Spain in Group C.
