Video: Bosch Helps Saracens Into European Semi Final

A second half try from Marcelo Bosch helped Saracens book a European Semi Final spot. The Argentine mid-fielder went over for a 58th minute try, stepping his way through Glasgow defenders in the process. The score was one of four Saracens tries in what was a comprehensive 38-8 victory.

With the win Saracens are to travel to Ireland to face Munster in Dublin. The Semi Final will be played on the weekend of April 22 though an exact date is yet to be determined. It is to be a play-off’s fixture on the road for both sides, albeit the home supporters will certainly be getting behind the southern Irish province.

Bosch was one of two Pumas starting today for Saracens. The other was Juan Figallo who played Tight Head prop. Also featuring from Washington State prop Titi Lamositele who was on the bench.

Lamositele is expected back for the USA’s mid-year matches in June. These include home tests against European visitors and Rugby World Cup qualifiers against Canada. Also likely to be involved is Greg Peterson. The Eagles second-rower made his return from injury for Glasgow. He was a replacement early in the second half.
