Video: Agustín Costa Repetto Scores 50th Professional Try

34-year-old Agustín Costa Repetto made history this weekend. Playing hooker for Colomiers the former Puma scored his 50th try as a professional rugby player. The try was his 4th for Colomiers. Previously he scored 10 for Tarbes and while playing in Italy he scored 23 for Petrarca and 13 for Mogliano.

Costa Repetto played three tests for Los Pumas in 2005. This included a try scoring double against Chile. The stranglehold which Mario Ledesma held over the Pumas’ hooker position prevented Costa Repetto from earning more caps. It did not prevent him, however, from having a highly impressive career in Italy and France.

Colomiers’ win sees the club sitting in 4th position. With four rounds of the regular season remaining the club is well positioned to compete in the post season. Promotion to the Top 14 continues to be a realistic dream.
