Gonzalo Quesada Set to Be Named Gloucester Head Coach

Gonzalo Quesada is set to be named Gloucester Head Coach, reports Midi Olympique. The French publication has named the former Puma as being the new coach, taking over next season.

The English club is to take-on a French flavor. Not only is Quesada to join from Stade Français but former French Head Coach, Philippe Saint-André is to be the Director of Rugby. A large portion of the club is to also become foreign-owned with Mohed Altrad of Montpellier becoming the largest share holder, with 45%.

Quesada’s departure from Stade Français has already been confirmed. Having taken the club to Top 14 glory in 2015 he made it known that problems within the club were preventing him from effectively performing his role. He was previously linked to a move to take-over at Biarritz.
