Sinclair back for British & Irish Cup Quarters

Jebb Sinclair will pull on a London Irish jersey for the first time since the pre-season when Irish host Yorkshire Carnegie on Saturday in the Quarter Finals of the British & Irish Cup. The big Canadian forward has at last been ruled fully fit following a knee injury that ruled him out of all rugby of the past six months. Sinclair will start on the bench while countryman Ciaran Hearn is named in the starting lineup at his preferred outside centre position.

Another Canadian returned from the Americas Rugby Championship as Brett Beukeboom flew direct from Brazil into the Cornish Pirates second row. Argentine centre Nicolás de Battista also started on Friday evening as the Pirates were felled 36-20 by the Jersey Reds at St. Peter’s.
