Hernández, Montero Set to Return for Jaguares

Juan Martín Hernández and Manuel Montero are set to return for Los Jaguares. Both backs missed the opening two rounds of Super Rugby but are fully involved in preparation for round three. On Saturday Los Jaguares will play host to the Lions in their first home game of the season.

The availability of Hernández and Montero is welcome news to the team. While they are both fit to return both Ramiro Herrera and Juan Manuel Leguizamón require another week before they can be considered. Both players are expected to make their first 2017 appearances against the Cheetahs.

Head Coach Raúl Pérez is still without a number of others. Winger Emiliano Boffelli played against Brazil in the Americas Rugby Championship but aggravated a muscle problem. This sees him sidelined for the time being. Martín Landajo, Tomás Lavanini, Javier Ortega Desio, Martín Landajo and Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro all require a lot more time before they will be free to play.
