Barrett bashes his way into Las Vegas Dream Team

Danny Barrett has been named in the official HSBC Dream Team for the Las Vegas 7s. The bruising USA forward bashed his way to five tries over the weekend including a hat-trick on Day One against Samoa. He also showed his all-around skills with accurate passing and by intercepting several lineout throws. Barrett is the only Americas player to be named in the Dream Team.

Completing the forwards are New Zealand legend DJ Forbes and big Fijian prop Mesulame Kunavula. Headlining the backs is teenage Australian sensation Lachie Anderson, who led the tournament with seven tries. A pair of Fijians – one playing for Fiji, one for New Zealand – are included in Jerry Tuwai and Vilimoni Koroi, while champions South Africa contribute only one player in the exciting Rosko Specman, star of the Cup Final.
