Brazil made history on Friday, defeating Canada in São Paulo. The fixture was just the second time the two countries had squared-off. The visitors were, nonetheless, expected to see off os Tupis to record a win.
In what was a match in which both side had their moments the rain proved to be extremely influential. In the opening round Chile were unable to play in the rain at the same venue. This weekend it was Canada’s turn. Uncharacteristic handling errors proved to cause Canada problems throughout the match.
