Estelles Signs New Deal with Northampton

The Northampton Saints have today confirmed new deals with 11 players currently contracted to the club. One of these is Juan Pablo Estelles, a starting Pumas winger this past November.

Estelles arrived at the English club from Los Pumas 7’s. He did so as a medical joker and made his debut appearance in November against the Newcastle Falcons. Last weekend he made his 7th appearance for the Saints, coincidentally also facing the Falcons.

Estelles recently had a spat with the UAR. It involved the player previously extending his contract with Northampton. Estelles had been expected to return to Argentina to play Super Rugby. This very reason saw him eligible for Argentina in November. His appearances against Scotland and England were green-lighted while fellow European-based wingers Juan Imhoff and Axel Muller were blocked.

The new contract sees Estelles signed to Northampton until June 2018.
