Scully Scores Again for Cardiff Blues

Blaine Scully scored again for the Cardiff Blues. The USA Eagles captain crossed for a first half try against Treviso in round 15 of the Guinness Pro 12. The try was one of eight for the Welsh region who won 57-21.

The win took the Cardiff Blues to 33 competition points. The side sits in 7th position, one above last season’s champions Connacht. There is an eight point gap now to close between the Blues in 7th and the Glasgow Warriors in 6th. On Friday the Cardiff Blues will face Edinburgh away.

Scully played in the round one match of the Americas Rugby Championship against Uruguay. He has since returned to club duty. His absence has opened the door to others and John Mitchell has been receiving positive results thus far.
