ARC 2017: Canada vs USA – Full Match

Canada played host to the USA on Saturday. The fixture was a round three match of the Americas Rugby Championship and the final tournament match in North America. The hosts entered with a win over Chile and a loss against the Argentina XV. The visitors were coming off wins over Brazil and Uruguay.

Recent fixtures between the sides have gone the way of the USA. Going into the match the Eagles had four consecutive victories over Canada. Their performance on Saturday extended the run to set a new record. The margin was also a record-setter with the Eagles completing their biggest win of all-time over their northern neighbors.

Neither side was at full strength. Missing were players to European clubs. Such athletes are to be back playing in the same match mid-year. The teams will meet home and away in Rugby World Cup qualifiers.
