Jaguares Named for 2017 Super Rugby Debut

Los Jaguares Head Coach Raúl Pérez has named his roster for the 2017 Super Rugby debut. The Argentine franchise will open their campaign away to the Kings in Port Elizabeth on February 25. It is to be followed by a game against the Stormers one week later.

The 27-man roster for the opening two rounds sees important names missing. In addition to the exclusion of Facundo Isa the team is also without Juan Martín Hernández, Ramiro Herrera,  Martín Landajo, Manuel Montero, Tomás Lavanini, Javier Ortega Desio, Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro, and Juan Manuel Leguizamón. Enrique Pieretto remains suspended following his red card against England.

Opportunities have been presented to new players. Named for the trip are Joaquín Díaz Bonilla, Bautista Ezcurra, Cristian Bartoloni, and Benjamin Macome. They are to be joined by Nicolás Sánchez and Matías Moroni who have passed fitness tests.
