2017 Rainforest Rugby 7’s

This coming weekend the Costa Rica Rugby Federation (FCRC) will organize the seventh edition of the Rainforest Rugby 7’s. The 2017 event will be played on February 18-19 at the Liceo Franco Costarricense in Concepción de Tres Ríos.

The two day event will feature both men’s and women’s competitions. Costa Rica, will be joined by Canada, Panama and the USA. Both Central American Republics are to use the event as preparation foto the 2017 Central American Games.

Prior editions of the Rainforest Rugby 7’s have included the participation of Cayman Islands, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Trinidad & Tobago and Venezuela.

2017 Rainforest Rugby 7’s competitors Canada and the USA are to field their developmental sides.
