ARC 2017: USA vs Brazil – Full Match

The USA hosted Brazil in round two of the 2017 Americas Rugby Championship. Played on Saturday the North Americans hammered the South Americans, taking them apart in the second half. The result well-and-truly meant the 2016 shock defeat was more than made up for.

The Eagles were coming off an opening round win over Uruguay. The hard-fought victory was due in no small part to Los Teros’ defensive arrangement. Against Brazil, the Eagles would have far more ease in finding their way over the try line.

With Chile having fallen to Brazil the Eagles can be optimistic about their remaining matches. First they face Canada, a team whom the USA has done well against in recent years. In South America the Eagles will face Chile and the Argentina XV. In 2016 the USA and Argentina XV competed to a draw.
