USA Eagles Coach Linked to French Club

USA Eagles Head Coach has been linked to French club Oyonnax, reports Midi Olympique. The speculated move would see John Mitchell leaving his post prematurely. He took up the position with USA Rugby on a four year deal.

Midi Olympique has made it known that Mitchell’s services will become available at the end of the current season. This being the case then a replacement for the former All Black will be required for the Rugby World Cup qualifiers. The USA and Canada will meet in home-and-away matches midyear.

With 19 rounds having been played thus far Oyonnax are the Pro D2 leaders. Second place is occupied by Agen. These two clubs were relegated from the Top 14 last season. Montauban, Colomiers, and Mont-de-Marsan are currently all within striking distance of catching Agen.
