Six Players Sign on with UAR until 2019

Six players have today signed on with the UAR until 2019. All six are regarded as elite Argentine players and on course to play at Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan. In signing all are under the control of the Argentine union and free to play at all times for all teams including the Argentina XV, Los Jaguares and Los Pumas.

The players are Matías Alemanno, Emiliano Boffelli, Santiago García Botta, Marcos Kremer, Pablo Matera and Guido Petti. Contracts had been on offer for a number of them in Europe. Instead they have agreed to terms with the UAR at a crucial time, ahead of Facundo Isa’s expected departure.

The Jaguares Board confirmed that the six players have all been signed on new deals until December 31 2019. All came through the national High Performance (PladAR) system.
