Bavaro to Skipper the Argentina XV

Lautaro Bavaro is to skipper the Argentina XV. The Hindú flanker will lead Argentina’s ‘A’ side in the upcoming Americas Rugby Championship. Having played in all five matches of the inaugural tournament in 2016 he is now to lead the side in their title defense.

Aged 22, Bavaro is uncapped but has made appearances for the Argentina XV in a number of competitions. He captained the team in the 2016 Sudamérica Cup, leading the Argentina XV to wins over Uruguay and Chile.
