Video: MacGinty Kicks Sale Sharks to Champions Cup Victory

AJ MacGinty Kicked the Sale Sharks to a Champions Cup victory on Saturday. The 25-23 win was the Aviva Premiership side’s one triumph of their European campaign. The team finished bottom of Pool 3 on four points. Both Saracens and Toulon advanced to the Quarter Finals.

The performance was AJ MacGinty’s best for a number of weeks. The USA Eagles’ fly half kicked five penalties to score 15 of Sale’s 25 points. He was unable, however, to convert either of his team’s two tries.

Their opponents, the Scarlets also crossed for two tries. The first of them was scored by Canadian DTH van der Merwe. It got the Welsh region back into the match after Sale had earlier been 16-0 ahead.
