Uruguay Players to Face Los Jaguares

Uruguay has named 24 players to face Los Jaguares. Los Teros will take on Argentina’s Super Rugby team on Monday in a pre-season fixture. It will be the first hit-out of the year for both teams, enabling them to prepare for Americas Rugby Championship and Super Rugby respectively.

The players selected are all candidates to play in the Americas Rugby Championship. A number of Uruguay’s leading veteran players will not feature. Juan de Freitas, Leandro Leivas, Mateo Sanguinetti and Rodrigo Silva all played at Rugby World Cup 2015.

Monday’s match is to be played at the Buenos Aires Cricket & Rugby Club (BACRC).
