Video: Uruguayan Named Man of the Match in Champions Cup

Uruguayan Rodrigo Capó Ortega was named man of the match in the Champions Cup last night. He captained Castres to a 24-24 draw against Leinster at the Stade Antoine Pierre.

Capó Ortega led his team from the second-row, the position he has occupied throughout his professional career at Castres. He joined the Top 14 club in 2002 and has made more than 300 appearances at the elite level.

The 36-year-old from Montevideo played in all four of Uruguay’s matches in Rugby World Cup 2003, scoring against Samoa. He earned the last of his 39 caps in 2014.

The draw sees Castres ending their Champions Cup campaign with 12 competition points. Leinster are winners with 23 while Montpellier finish with 16 points in third. Depending on results today and tomorrow Montpellier could reach the Quarter Finals.
