“We’ll beat the All Blacks by 2019”

Daniel Hourcade has declared “We’ll beat the All Blacks by 2019”. The Argentine Head Coach made the declaration on the “De caño vale doble” show on Radio 10.

With Los Jaguares having begun preparations for their second Super Rugby season Hourcade is optimistic. He believes that the lessons learned including extensive travel will make for a different team this year.

Having a favorable draw this year involving Australian rather than New Zealand franchises will see improved performances. Hourcade argued that “I believe that this year we are going to see better results and will be well placed for the 2019 Rugby World Cup”.

In terms of the All Blacks Hourcade commented that “in rugby I don’t like seeing New Zealand winning so often. This is why we are going to beat them before 2019, I guarantee it”.

“The haka is not scary. I think it has a lot to do with merchandising. There are some teams who take them wrong, but you can observe the evolution of the haka and it is a show. They are clowns, they are so good that you hate them already”.
