Americas Players in RFU Championship – Week 13

It’s a half-dozen Americas exports in the Greene King IPA Championship this weekend. The fate of London Welsh is still up in the air but it’s a full 12-team division for one more week at least, with three games each on Saturday and Sunday.

Cornish Pirates are locking down their starting lineup from here on in and while it looks as though Matt Evans will be out for some time they still have Brett Beukeboom at lock and Nicolás de Battista in the midfield to call on against Nottingham on Saturday. Justin Blanchet is on the flank for Bedford as they take on London Irish at the Madejski, and Ronnie McLean continues at inside center for Richmond with second row Tyler Hotson on the bench against Doncaster.

Sunday’s matches feature only a single Americas representative. Argentine prop Ignacio Sáenz Lancuba remains a reservist for Ealing Trailfinders for their trip across the waters to play Jersey at St. Peter.
