Happy Holidays from ARN

A massive thank you to everyone who has visited with us over the course of 2016! This was our first full year after kicking off just over 18 months ago and what a year it was! The renewed Americas Rugby Championship, the ups and downs of PRO Rugby, a first run for Los Jaguares in Super Rugby, the welcoming of rugby sevens to the Olympic party, and so much more.

Looking ahead we have the 2017 ARC, Super Rugby, 2019 World Cup Qualifiers, the continuation of the HSBC Sevens Series, and the big ticket from Ireland – the 2017 Women’s World Cup. On the domestic side of things the California Cup has three rounds remaining, the Canadian Rugby Championship is set to get an upgrade, and the Major Rugby Championship is brewing in the southern states. Whatever 2017 has in store for rugby in the Americas, we’ll be there to talk about it and we hope you are too!

In the coming days you’ll see some year-in-review pieces, mid-season European pro updates, and of course our 2016 ARN Awards. For today, however, it’s a well-earned rest.

From everyone here at Americas Rugby News we wish you a safe and happy holiday season.
