Charreyre has selected only Chilean based players for the camp. Players based abroad are to be considered for the Americas Rugby Championship.

Chile will have two home fixtures in the 2017 edition of the tournament. Venues for these matches are yet to be confirmed. Los Cóndores will face the Argentina XV and the USA at home.

Los Cóndors will play the opening two rounds on the road. First up will be a trip to São Paulo to face Brazil. The match will take place at the Estadio de Pacaembú, a venue from the 1950 FIFA World Cup.

The opening round match will be on a Friday. Chile will then travel to British Columbia. Their round two match will be against Canada at Westhills Stadium in Langford. It will be eight days after the match in São Paulo.

Chile will be at home for round three. Their opponents will be there 2015 champions, the Argentina XV. The following weekend Chile will face the USA, again at home.

For round five the Chileans will travel to Montevideo. There they will face Uruguay at the Estadio Charrúa. The final round match will be played on March 04.
