Video: Rampant Socino Blasts Through vs Lyon

An rampant performance from Juan Pablo Socino saw the Buenos Aires back blasting through for two tries against Lyon. The Rugby World Cup 2015 Puma crossed for a double in the opening half to help the Newcastle Falcons to a dream start. The 48-29 win was by six tries to four.

Socino’s opening try came from the fly half come inside-center proving support. Upon gathering a pass he stepped through two would-be defenders to score. Try number two came from a lineout. The Argentine broke the line to run clear through the defense and score untouched.

The win sees the Newcastle Falcons closing in on Lyon in the standings. Lyon has 11 points, one more than Newcastle. The Ospreys, though, remain in control. Yet to lose a match the Welsh region has a perfect 20 points from four bonus point victories.
