Albacete: “I want to Keep on Playing”

Patricio Albacete has responded to Toulouse in saying “I want to keep on playing”. The veteran second-rower has recently told by his club that this season is to be his last.

Albacete is recovering from a serious knee injury. He badly ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in March and has not played since. He is expected to be back playing shortly.

Albacete told La Dépêche du Midi “I spoke with Fabien Pelous (Toulouse sports director) who told me that my contract would not be renewed. I’m glad he did it early as it will allow me to turn around.”

I want to continue playing, there are plenty of possibilities in France and abroad, we will see what I decide to do, but for the moment I do not mind too much. I am interested in returning to the field to enjoy the last months I have in Toulouse.”
