Moonlight brings up 50, Morra set to debut

Canadian captain John Moonlight will participate in his 50th HSBC Sevens Series tournament when the teams take the field in Cape Town this weekend. The 29-year-old has been a regular in the side since making his debut at Hong Kong in March 2009. Moonlight leads a team that shows one enforced change from the team that finished 13th in Dubai last weekend.

As expected Harry Jones is ruled out with injury and his place goes to Caleb Jordan, the Quebec native who made his HSBC Series debut in Dubai after being called in from the 13th spot to replace Jones on Day Two. Taking the vacant injury cover role for Cape Town is 18-year-old Josiah Morra of Ontario. Should Morra take the field it will be his first senior international experience having previously been part of the national u18 side.

Canada have been drawn in the very difficult Pool C for Cape Town along with England, New Zealand, and Argentina. All matches will be streamed live by World Rugby.
