Americas Players in Top 14 – Week 13

Week 13 of the Top 14 will be played on Saturday and Sunday. Involved are to be a number of players from a number of countries in the Americas.

Pau will host the best team in this season’s competition, Clermont. Starting in the back-row will be Steffon Armitage.  The former English international was born in Trinidad & Tobago. He will fly the flag for the Americas in this match.

Coached by Gonzalo Quesada, Stade Français will be seeking maximum points on Saturday. They play host to bottom-seeds Bayonne. The visitors are still without Martín Bustos Moyano to injury though their Chilean second-rower continues to hold down a starting position. Pablo Huete will wear the number 5 shirt.

Lyon will welcome Castres in another Saturday fixture. Delon Armitage will start at fullback while Francisco Gomez Kodela will play Tight Head prop. Castres have named a reserve lineup which means Rodrigo Capó Ortega will play from the bench.

La Rochelle will be out for another scalp. This time they shot Racing 92, the reigning champions. The Italian-Capped Argentine second-rower Leandro Cedaro will start for La Rochelle. Former Puma Manuel Carizza will play opposite Cedaro. Also starting will be Juan Imhoff on the left wing.

On Sunday Toulouse and Toulon will have home advantage against Brive and Bordeaux respectively. Lineups for both matches will be announced on Saturday afternoon.
