All change for France in second USA test

France has made nine changes to their run-on side to face the USA Women’s Eagles in their second test to be played at Altrad Stadium in Montpellier on Friday. Recalled to the team are several players who missed Tuesday’s match in Béziers that saw the French cruise to a 36-10 victory.

Among the returnees is regular captain Gaëlle Mignot, who starts at hooker in place of Agathe Sochat. World Cup star Safi N’Diaye is another notable inclusion, starting at no8 after playing only a couple minutes as a replacement on Tuesday.

Patricia Carricaburu replaces Tuesday’s stand-in captain Julie Duval at tighthead prop, with Céline Ferrer back to boost the second row. Pauline Rayssac will play on the flank with Romane Menager who moves from the back of the scrum to make room for N’Diaye.

In the backs Yanna Rivoalen forms a new halfback duo with Camille Imart, and Elodie Poublan starts at inside centre. The last change sees Laure Delas replace Laurianne Lissar at fullback.

The Women’s Eagles will name their lineup on Friday morning.

Kickoff is set for 9pm local time, 3pm Eastern, with a live broadcast available on The Rugby Channel.
