Video: Fight Erupts late in Spain vs Uruguay

A fight erupted late in Saturday’s test match between Spain and Uruguay. The 78th minute incident saw players from both teams throwing punches. It was sparked by Spanish replacement prop Juan Anaya who shoved Uruguayan second-rower Diego Magno.

With Facundo Munilla having tackled Juan Manuel Cat into touch, Anaya took offense to Magno pushing two Spanish players away from Cat who was on the floor. Players from both sides then ran in as a mass brawl unfolded.

Argentine referee Federico Anselmi produced red cards for the captains of each side – Juan Manuel Gaminara and Jaime Nava.
