Chilean Named Queensland Captain in Australian Sevens

As reported back in September Chilean Nicolás Herreros will play for Quensland in this month’s Australian Sevens. That competition is taking place this weekend and Herreros is captaining the north-eastern Australian province. The competition is being played on Saturday and Sunday of this weekend in Adelaide.

Herreros comes from the Santiago club, Sporting. The club has produced a number of Cóndores players over the years. Of them, Francisco González Moller played for Chile this month against South Korea.

Queensland White are playing in Group B of the Australian Sevens. They are up against Western Australia and South Australia. The competition is being staged at the Adelaide Shores Resort in West Beach.
