Germany name side for first Brazil test

Germany have confirmed their side to play Brazil in the first of two tests starting in Heidelberg on Saturday. Two changes have been made from the side that upset Uruguay in Frankfurt, both enforced. Hooker Mikael Tyumenev and flyhalf hero Christopher Hilsenbeck have returned to their clubs in France. Stepping in at no2 is Dasch Barber while Raynor Parkinson switches from fullback to flyhalf. Harris Aounallah starts at fullback.

Uncapped scrumhalf Daniel Koch has been named on the bench in place of Rafael Pyrasch.

The teams have met on two previous occasions, with Germany coming away with comfortable victories in each. A 31-7 result at Pacaembu in December 2015 was the their most recent encounter. This will be Brazil’s first trip to Germany.
