Americas Players in Premiership – Round 8

His recovery from a hamstring injury wasn’t quite in time to make the US Eagles tour but AJ MacGinty will finally make his return for Sale Sharks on Sunday against Saracens. The match at AJ Bell Stadium will be of great interest to American fans with Juan Figallo, Chris Wyles, and Marcelo Bosch all starting for the visitors and Titi Lamositele on the bench fresh off a tough test against Romania.

Friday’s action saw a pair of Argentines involved. Gastón Cortes came off the bench for Bristol in their defeat at the hands of Bath, while Juan Pablo Socino started in the midfield for Newcastle Falcons who fell to Exeter Chiefs. Saturday will have another Pumas player in Mariano Galarza lining up in Gloucester’s second row when Wasps come to Kingsholm.

Rounding out this week’s Americas representation is Marcos Ayerza who will be a reserve for Leicester Tigers on their trip to The Stoop. Starting for Harlequins after being released from the England camp is St. Lucia winger Marland Yarde.
